Bill advises developers, nonprofit corporations, and public entities on a variety of real estate transactions and infrastructure finance. He has more than 20 years of experience in real estate development, public/private partnerships, land use, and municipal law, and serves as an advisor to national developers seeking tax abatements, tax increment financing, or any other redevelopment opportunities across the St. Louis region. Ungaretti & Harris opened in 1974. The firm’s co-founders included veteran litigator Michael Coffield and real estate lawyer Richard Ungaretti, who had just graduated from DePaul Law School four years earlier. Coffield left the firm in the 1990s and died in 2012. Another co-founder, Alton Harris, who specializes in the financial industry, remains with the firm.
